To help formulators meet the demands of the market, Evonik has developed TEGO® Remo 95 MB, a natural-base viscosifier indicated for liquid detergents formulated with PEGs and Sulfate Free surfactants, which combines excellent emollient properties and a conditioning activity. In addition to assuring a sensation of softness on the skin, the product’s composition ensures a decrease in the loss of transepidermal hydration (TWL), thus helping to preserve the skin’s natural protective barrier.
TEGO® Remo 95 MB is a low-viscosity, clear and colourless liquid, with a 95% content of active principles. This ingredient is easy to use and shows excellent stability also within cold production processes, therefore allowing for energy savings and helping reduce the carbon footprint. What is more, TEGO® Remo 95 MB is entirely developed from renewable sources and contributes to the production of sustainable palm oil, according to the RSPO model.
TEGO® Remo 95 MB can be used in a wide variety of formulations for skin and hair care, such as liquid soaps, cleansing products for face and body, shampoo. It is also suitable to be used in high oil content formulations (50%), in which it assures excellent foaming properties and a creamy texture.
